What Assignments Are Available?
There are assignments available nationwide! You specify the type of assignment you're looking for, and we'll find it- that’s why we are here—to serve and meet all of your personal career travel goals! From prestigious teaching facilities to small community hospitals—in big cities to rural settings—positions are available in almost all specialties and shifts.
What Happens Next?
Once you have found an assignment that you are interested in, a copy of your paperwork with your selected start date, unit, and shift will be sent to the facility for their review, along with a time for the facility to call you for a telephone interview. Prior to the interview, it's a good idea to prepare a list of any questions you may have about the unit in which you'll be working. Questions such as on-call, weekend coverage, and unit size, nurse patient ratios, census are just a suggestion of questions. We want you to be comfortable with your assignment from the very beginning.
When Will I Start?
Following your telephone interview with the facility, you, the facility, and HHA will decide if the assignment is right for you. There's no pressure or obligation for you to accept the assignment. Remember, we want you to be 100% comfortable with the decision to become a part of the HHA Team! Once you have decided on the assignment that's right for you, your Travel Representative will confirm your start date, shift, unit and salary. We will then prepare you for your arrival. All you need to do is pack your bags and get ready to become part of our great TEAM!
What Happens At The End Of My Assignment?
After you have completed your assignment, you will have the option to: extend your assignment, travel to another exciting assignment, apply for a permanent position at the facility, or return home, perhaps to travel again at a later date. Whatever the decision, the next step is yours!
